Detailed Information
Founded by the Santosa family in 2018, Ballydídean Farm Sanctuary is the realization of a dream Sarah and Ansel have shared since they were 15 years old.
Ballydídean rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes farm animals who are unwanted, neglected, or abused, giving them the opportunity to live safe, peaceful, and happy lives.
But their work goes beyond rescue. Through tours, community events, and educational programs, Ballydídean creates opportunities for people — especially children — to meet and connect with farm animals in a whole new way. By building relationships and understanding, they hope to foster empathy and encourage people to rethink how we see and relate to these animals.
