Artworks Gallery introduces SHARI THOMPSON

Artworks Gallery introduces newest member Shari Thompson as featured artist for February. A Second Saturday reception will be held at the gallery February 10 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. There will be light snacks and beverages and live entertainment by guitarist Rick Azim. Other Artworks Gallery artists will be on hand to greet visitors during the reception.
Shari Thompson, a self taught bead weaver, has been making and selling beaded jewelry since 2007. Shari was inspired by a picture of a beaded necklace in a magazine and thought it would be a fun project. After she finished the piece, she began designing ideas of her own and continued to master many of the stitches used in bead weaving. Most of the pieces Shari creates are one of a kind and involve many hours of both beading and planning. Exquisite pieces for your favorite Valentine.
