Newsletter Advertising Information
Reach the readers you need to reach by advertising in the monthly Greater Freeland Chamber newsletter, distributed both online and in a printed format. Over 300 newsletters are distributed each issue, and many businesses have them available for customers to read.
$50: Full page 8 x 11′ “stuffer” (an excellent value for maximum coverage!)
$35: 1/2 page ad
$25: 1/4 page ad
$15: Business card size ad
- Advertising is available to current Chamber members
- Plan ahead as space is limited for each issue
- You print 250 copies and deliver to our offices, you incur no mailing costs. We will stuff your flier into the newsletters and distribute. Color is recommended, and printing both sides of your document is fine.
- Deadline to turn in artwork is the 15th of the month prior to publication

Would you like 5 minutes to showcase your business? For $100 you can be a Business Lunch Sponsor. Speak about and present your business for 5 minutes with an overhead presentation or anything else you would like to do. We will provide you table space to leave your marketing materials, and you may also leave your materials at each place setting.
Business After Hours (BAH)
Chamber Members: Promote your business! HOST A BUSINESS AFTER HOURS
Consider hosting a 2015 Business After Hours (BAH) at your place of business. Invite your customers and friends! The Chamber will help promote your event through email announcements and The Chamber Comment newsletter. It’s a great way to bring people in to your company in a “happy hour” setting.
Kiosk Advertising Programs
Advertise your business at your Visitor’s Information Kiosk at Ken’s Corner, just past the light at SR 525 and Langley Road. The Kiosk is open year round for self serve and staffed by volunteers Friday to Sunday April through September.
Banners may be hung for 1-14 days at $7 per day or $25 per week. Your business/organization puts up and removes the banner. If a longer period of time is requested, your banner may be up for 2 weeks and down for 1 week (though your banner may be hung up longer during Fall/Winter season, if discussed in advance).
Yearly cost is $250. Partial year is prorated. Additionally, you can reserve 4 months at $80 or 6 months at $130. The overall measurements of a poster should be 11″ across by 14″ down including the dimensions after sealed in laminate. The actual poster needs to be less than that – maximum 10 1/2″ by 13 1/2″ to allow for proper sealing from the weather by the laminate. This includes installed poster on exterior wall for 24/7 exposure, advertiser recognition in weekly handout “What’s Happening” and monthly “Gallery Watch” handouts (these handouts appear each week in Whidbey Life Magazine for additional recognition), rack cards in the stands for visitor’s access and displayed on the bi-fold doors for easy access to volunteers, and educational FAM trip for advertisers.
